Day 1: Arrival Luang Prabang (L/D)
AM. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, transfer to hotel for check in. Lunch at local restaurant.
PM. Start your visit with Vat Vixoune influenced by Thai – Lu architecture and That Makmo, the watermelon shape stupa, just next stop at Vat Aham with its giant ficus. Take a walk in the old city passing small lanes, old beautiful houses with small gardens, workshops etc then climb up Phousy Hill for a panoramic view of the city and the Mekong river. Dinner and accommodation at hotel.

Day 2: Luang Prabang (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Full day visit of this charming city. Start with the visit of the local fresh market behind Vat Mai. Proceed to Vat Mai with its five tiered roof and exquisite carved veranda, stroll through lanes with charming old houses and gardens, up to Vat Xieng Thong. Vat Xieng Thong is the most beautiful temples of Luang Prabang dating back from 16th century. The roofs of the sim sweep low to the ground and glass colored panels adorn the walls of the chapels. Lunch at “L’Elephant” restaurant.
Afternoon visit the national museum, the former royal palace then visit Vat Sene, the perfect place to pray or meditate. Free time at Hmong market. Dinner at “Tamnak Lao” restaurant. Accommodation at hotel.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou – Luang Prabang (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Embark at the local pier of Luang Prabang on a traditional boat and go upstream on the Mekong river to visit the sacred Buddha caves. On the way stop at a picturesque village and get a glimpse of daily life. Visit Tham Ting and Tham Phoum caves housing hundreds of Buddha statues. Lunch at “Suan Pak Ou” restaurant near the caves. Return to Luang Prabang by car. On the way back stop at Ban Xang Khong handmade paper village and Ban Xieng Lek, a weaving village.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Kuangsi (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a walk on the colorful fresh market then proceed to Vat Mai with its five tiered roof and exquisite carved veranda. Excursion by car to Kuangsi waterfall (30 kms). On the way, visit Hmong village at Ban Na Ouane and Khmou village at Ban Tha pen.Enjoy the beautiful scenery, swimming or relaxing nearby the clear pools of the tiered limestone formations.
Picnic lunch nearby waterfall. Back to Luang Prabang in afternoon and time at leisure in the old city. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 5: Luang Prabang – Vang Vieng (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Leave Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng by a beautiful road with breathtaking views over the mountains and numerous possibilities for photos. Stop at Phoukhoune with its lively market. Stop on the way at Ban Houn Xay. Lunch at local restaurant via Kasi As you approach Vang Vieng district karstic cliffs covered by lush vegetation appear. Stop at Pathang for its dramatic view over karstic mountains. Take a small boat on Nam Song river for a tour amid beautiful scenery. Transfer to hotel for check in.

Day 6: Vang Vieng – Vientiane (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Tham Chang Cave with its stunning view over the valley.
Drive to Vientiane, leave the karstic formations for the rich plain of the Mekong. Arrive in the capital at lunch time. Lunch at Le Central restaurant.
Afternoon visit of Vientiane: Vat Sisaket, the oldest and most beautiful temple of Vientiane, Ho Prakeo, the royal temple turned museum. Proceed to That Luang Stupa, the most revered shrine in Laos and stop at Patouxay (the Arc of Triumph). Stop at Talat Sao (the big central market) if time permits. Take a short walk along the Mekong at sunset. Dinner at “Kua Lao” restaurant with traditional music and dances. Accommodation at hotel

Day 7: Vientiane (B)
Breakfast at hotel.Transfer to airport for check in and depart to your next destination.
